Popularly known as the “Coca-Cola route,” the Marangu Road is the oldest and most well-traveled trail atop Mount Kilimanjaro. By using the Kilimanjaro Marangu Route 6 Days, you will be able to replicate Hans Meyer’s 1889 first successful ascent of Kilimanjaro. The path travels through every climate zone on the mountain, from tropical forest to alpine desert, and is located inside Kilimanjaro National Park. Remarkably, it’s the only route that provides overnight accommodations in huts akin to dorms.
Thinking about doing the Kilimanjaro Marangu Route 6 Days? Because the huts will keep you dry and comfortable, it’s a fantastic choice for climbing Kilimanjaro during the rainy seasons, which are from mid-March to late May and from late October to late December. There are two 5-day and 6-day versions of the Marangu trek, with the second being easier.
